I never said I needed you, I just felt it from the fall. I’m sure I never stated I was pure enough to hold you up, I just took your words for truth. They were gospel to me. You were much too giving, much too forgiving, for how much I hurt you and how quickly I was gone. But, now I’m back. (I’m) here to burden with insufferable silence. And you, wondering what I’m thinking. Well, why not say it? Just say something man. Just don’t screw it up. We couldn’t lose her again. Grip and tear inside my chest. Dig and search and scramble for a medium/ a vehicle for words. I never said I needed you, I just felt it from the fall. I know that nothings good enough to seal these open wounds, to shield yourself from me. So, here’s this humble offering. Just take it to survive. For as cold as skin may seem, the flames still move inside.
